discount airline tickets

More specifically I need a ticket from Kiev, Ukraine to Mobile, Alabama. I would like to leave soon, Thursday the 20th, of March. I’ve looked on the normal sites and it’s gonna run about $1000, which is too much. If anyone knows of any other way, like discount sites, last minute deals…..really any other way I’d be very appreciative. Thanks for any kind of info. Also, I’ve thought of hopping a train to a coastal country, Germany or France, and then taking a cruise ship back to the U.S. If anyone can help with this route that would help too but first and foremost, the airline way. Thanks!!!!!

I would like to take a trip with my family to Hawaii, however because I was medically discharged from the Army I don’t qualify for space a flights. The cost of airline tickets is staggering. I am 100% disabled veteran and live on my VA pay. I don’t think Im gonna have another chance to take a vacation due to my health and I want to make memories now. Should I wait till last min. to see if flights are cheaper? Or does anyone know of a place where I can make payments on vacations?
