Northwest Airline?

I purchased a ticket on northwest airline and I have free miles. When I was buying the ticket online I enter the miles account number but still it doesn’t show my discount and they charged me full price and when I call there 800 number she said you will get that discount in 48 hrs is that true. Are they going to charge me full price. Why it won’t take discount off right away

    I have heard that Northwest is pretty notorious for screwing up customer service issues. So, though they should do it, you should definitely follow-up if it hasn’t happened within 24 hours. Don’t let it go either, just keep at it until it’s resolved, ask to speak to managers, etc.

    Make sure you keep a list of names of those whom you spoke to. Each person you talk to will probably give you a different answer. Hopefully you paid by credit card in case you have to file a dispute. Sometimes though the discount/credit will take awhile to go into effect.
