3200×149=476800
476800-467200=9600
9600/(3200-2900)=32
32 discounted tickets
117 full price tickets
the unknown are the number of full price tickets and discounted price tickets

how many full, how many discounted are unknown.
full + dis = 149
3200full + 2900dis = 467200
=>32full + 29dis = 4672 and
32full + 29(149 — full) = 4672
=> 3full = 4672 –29*149 => 3full = 4672 — 4321 = 351
=> full = 351/3 = 117
dis = 149 — full = 149 — 117 = 32
117 full tickets and 32 discounted tickets were sold.
