What is the cheapest way to get an airline ticket from Europe to Southeast America?

Unfortunately, you are booking too late to be choosy about when you fly. $1000 really is not a bad price from Kyiv this late in the game.
I found to be cheaper than a local purchase, or a wholesaler/travel site, but you have to book round trip to get the best fare even if you don’t want to use the return. When you get to the US, you can cancel the return flight and take a credit towards another NWA flight any time in the next year.
I booked flights from Kyiv on 27 February, leaving on 4 March, and paid $760 each (round trip).
However, you have to be flexible on the days you travel. The cheapest days to fly are Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday tends to be a bit higher, and Friday-Monday are considered “weekend travel” slots.
