Adam Jaylin asked:
Air travelling most certainly, is the most expensive medium of travelling. While going out for a trip, the major portion of our money goes in availing these airline tickets. And nearly all of us have sincerely wished in some point of their lives that airfares could have been a little cheaper. Talking in a more practical vein, here are some tricks that we could employ in order to ensure a cheap airline ticket.
If possible, then you could avoid air travel during the peak season as the air fares soar high during that part of the year and it is out of reach for a normal traveller. Whenever you are travelling through airways for your yearly holiday trip, make sure that you book your travel during the off peak season. Also, another way of finding a good airline ticket is to find it online. There are many cheap deals that could be easily found along with comparative details. It is also interesting to note that you may not necessarily be able to figure out all the airways carrier details as certain smaller carriages are not included in the list. You can check them out personally as there are more chances of getting a better price on these airways.
There are certain deals and offers that are not publicised online, so it is always better to check out the various offers by telephoning the inquiries and availing the offers directly. Further, you could also check out the availability of tickets from Wednesday evening to Thursday afternoon, especially in the case of international flights as you can expect great discounts on the tickets. It is because the airways like to sell off the extra tickets to the customers at a throw away price than to take an empty seated airplane for an international flight.
There are various comparison websites that give you a detailed comparison of the different airlines and their rates. You can easily find such a websites on the Internet and get the required air tickets at a suitable package.
Thus, By looking into these details, you would easily find cheap airline tickets that takes care of your travel budget.

Almost all the airlines offer discounts, special holiday packages, frequent flyer programs and much more. Travel agents and travel websites and other portals are also in the foray to please customers. Though you may not get discounts on international air tickets, obtaining cheap airline tickets has become all the much easier.
Travel agents, airline consolidators, travel sites and airlines are luring travelers from all over the world. With the entire travel industry buzzing, people are finding traveling easy on their pockets. But one needs to be careful while looking for cheap airline tickets. You may end up paying much more than the actual cost of tickets because of hidden charges. You must understand that there are several facts to airline tickets. You can not rely on every offer of heavy discount as they may be all false. One fact that must be clear on your mind is that international airfares are regulated by IATA, so fewer discounts are offered on international flights.
If you wish to save on air tickets, try to be flexible with dates. Most of the online travel portals have the option to know air ticket prices for different dates. So, it is beneficial to search for flexible dates. A few minutes of search may save you a few hundred bucks. Another fact that you need to know about cheap airline tickets is that traveling on some days is often cheaper than others. For example, traveling on Tuesdays is much easier on pocket than traveling on Sundays or weekends. Another fact that you need to look out for is that some travel sites offer special packages. So, be ready to choose ‘anytime’ at the travel website. Some travel groups offer awesome travel and hotel packages. These are really great in terms of money. Web portals offer such packages as these can be assembled at lesser rates and the company can make two transactions in a single go.
At times, you may be lucky to get over to “special deals” section of the travel portal. Do not forget to click on this section and look out for some really hot offers. One fact that is very important to save money is to book tickets online instead of offline as it leads to saving money on paper processing fee. It helps in getting airline tickets. Go for booking tickets during off-season as they are much cheaper at that time. Buying flight tickets in lean season saves a lot of money. Another fact is that one must go for round trip tickets rather than one way ticket as these are much cheaper. Planning your tour well in advance helps in deciding return dates, so, plan ahead of your trip.
There is another fact regarding airline tickets. You can buy tickets from air courier service. They offer low priced air tickets as they purchase luggage space in lieu of cheaper air tickets. If you are a seasoned traveler, joining a frequent flyer program is a good way to save money on air tickets. Such programs often offer long term discounts. Airline tickets may also depend on the timings of your flight. For instance, flying in the wee hours of mornings or late in the evening or night is often cheaper than flying during midday which has the busiest hours of the day. Another fact about low priced air tickets is that buying from wholesalers is often cheaper as wholesalers buy tickets in bulk from the airlines. Thus, they offer air tickets at lesser prices. But the best bet for airline tickets is internet. The presence of world class travel portals like Globester.com, eezeego.com has made it very easier. User friendly websites make it possible to land up with low priced air tickets in an hour or so.
One does not need to be an expert of IT or be a seasoned traveler as online searches for air tickets is very easy. Anyone can do it, keeping in mind the various facts about obtaining discounted air tickets. Make sure that you are getting the best deal before booking air tickets to your destination. Go, explore the world.

Brad Alexzander12 asked:
As most of us are no doubt familiar, there is a huge fluctuation in the prices of airline tickets. Depending on anything from season, how well traveled the route is, and other reasons that seem more mysterious, flight prices change constantly and radically. One of the most important things to consider if you’re interested in discount travel is the difference in cost between domestic and international flights, and to use this to your advantage when you want to travel internationally.
In the USA, a typical return flight from New York City to Montreal, Canada, for example costs about $300 for a trip that is just over 1 hour. For roughly the same price, one can fly domestically across the country from New York to Los Angeles – a much longer trip. With very few exceptions, flights are cheaper domestically – they are subject to less taxes and regulations for the airlines, and they are often on more traveled routes so the airlines can afford a discount.
So to take advantage of this – to truly get some discount travel – you should look into splitting your long international flight into 2 flights. Although it’s more indirect, and a slight inconvenience, you can save a lot of money this way. For example, if you happen to live in the northern United States and want to go to Latin or South America, you will probably find that it’s a lot cheaper to first get a domestic flight to a southern hub like Miami or Dallas and then taking a second flight further south. Even if you live in a big northern city, chances are the direct flight is going to be more. Taking two flights doesn’t have to be as inconvenient as you may think. Oftentimes, no overnight stay is required, and if your destination is a common one you may only have short delay.
When looking for discount travel solutions online, you’re going to have to use a bit of creative thinking. Most discount flight searching sights are not set-up to search multiple flight routes to your destination. Rather, they are designed to show you the cheapest direct flight between the two points you want to go. So whenever you’re comparing prices of a direct flight, it’s always a good idea to take a look at an indirect path as well – oftentimes you will be surprised at the savings involved.
It is harder to easily compare different 2-flight routes, and the combinations involved can quickly make things complicated. The two general rules to keep in mind when looking for savings are that you more or less want to fly as close to your destination as possible domestically, and that you want to fly between major hubs. The cheapest of all domestic flights will always be between major hubs (as our New York to LA example shows) so if you plan your trip with that in mind it’s likely you will experience significant savings.
Discount travel is as much a science as an art, and those that are good at it are able to come up with creative solutions – a great starting point for becoming an experienced discount traveler is to learn about airline hubs and patterns, and to explore taking to separate flights as opposed to one long one when traveling internationally.

curious asked:
I remember when I worked for an airline years ago there where people who actually got paid to take certain items on international flights and got paid for it. I know there are many courier companies who want you to take pieces of luggage for them and only give you a discounted plane ticket. That IS NOT what I’m looking for. There has to be a service that will do International or even domestic courier services that pays the traveler , No?

Andrew Bicknell asked:
Many people dream of traveling to a foreign country but the cost of international airfare is enough to scare most people off. If this is something you’ve always dreamed of doing but the prohibitive cost of airline tickets has kept you from doing so then its time to learn the secrets of finding cheap discount international flights and airline tickets.
The one thing that most people are not aware of is the fact that airline ticket prices change on a daily basis. This is important to remember because when you find a really good deal you need to take advantage of it. If you wait until the next day to think about it there is a good chance that the price will have changed.
You can take advantage of this daily price change is you know what to do. Or more importantly who to talk to. Call the airlines ticketing representatives directly and simply ask what kind of ticket discounts they currently have running for their international flights. Most airlines run specials every day of the week, they just don’t advertise the fact.
The time you choose to call can also be important because most of these discounted specials are first come first serve. The airlines update their computerized ticketing system everyday at right around midnight so calling in the early morning hours stands a good chance of finding some really good deals on international airline tickets.
There is also the issue of knowing how far in advance to buy your tickets because you want to take advantage of any early booking discounts the airlines may be offering. The general for early booking is to make your reservations between 4 months and 21 to 14 days before your scheduled travel dates. You won’t save much if you try to book a flight beyond 4 months out and once you get inside of the two week travel window the airlines know they can charge full price because most people traveling are either business travelers or traveling on short notice.
Another good tip to finding inexpensive airline tickets is to travel during the off-peak seasons. Because the demand for tickets isn’t as great during these times the airlines will offer pretty good discounts to put warm bodies in their cabins.
Finding cheap discount international flights and airline tickets is relatively easy if your timing is good. Once you learn the ins and outs of the airline ticketing system you will soon find yourself traveling with more spare cash in your pockets no matter where you go.
