is there realy such a thing discount airline tickets if you are purchasing them to attend a funeral?

    There is a thing called a bereavement fare. Many but not all airlines offer one. You may be asked to give some type of proof but not usually. My experience is that these fares are not all that good and you would be better off to look for a cheaper ticket on the net. Good Luck in your search.
